New year goals

I have had a hard time making my new year goals for this year because some days it seems that just making it to nap time, and then just making it to when Steven gets home from work is to much for me, so it has been hard thinking I would add to my list of to do's. But I decided that when I am striving to achieve goals I am a happier and better person so here are my new year goals (yes they are simple but they are what I need right now).

Make time, enjoy, and recognize quality time with my family.

Enjoy my moments with my children for the grow so quickly

Record Alivia and Benjamin's achievements, even the small ones.

Learn something new (I have not decided on what yet and I don't have the time to dedicate to this but I plan to decide what later).

Make time for my scripture, (even if it is just one verse, a song, or an ensign article).

Find time to work out.

Spend less, save more.

A Decade in Review

It is the end of another year but not only that also a decade a wonderful decade for me. I have been Inspired by my friend Amanda (garibaysoup.blogspot.com)to look at all that has happened not only last year but also the last decade.

The last year...

We were blessed with a beautiful baby girl Alivia. She is now 6 weeks old and just a sweet heart. Children are such a blessing and I am so thankful for mine.

Benjamin turned 2 and is at an adorable and challenging age. In August he was potty trained, and we couldn't be more proud of him. His langauage is amazing he can say almost anything and is working on sentences. He is great with other kids he loves playdates. His favorite place to go is the library and the bank (for suckers).

As for Steven all I can say is Digital Direct(Steven's new position) has changed our lives. He has had many challenges and sucess, It also taught us about midnight calls and long hours.

And for me, I spent the better part of the year pregnant, and loved it.Then with the end of the year Benjamin went to my mom's house and I had Alivia, we spent the month of Dec adjusting to this new little one. I have met new friends and strenthend old friendships. What a great year!

On to the Decade.

2000 Graduated from High School and Went to Oregon State
2002 Met and fell in love with Steven
2003 Married my sweet heart
2004 Graduated from OSU
2006 Steven graduated, we moved to Medford
2007 Benjamin joined our family!
2009 Alivia come to us.

What a wonderful decade, I can't wait to see what the next ten bring.

Finally Benjamin's Birthday!

I finally have been able to upload the pictures for Benjamin's 2nd birthday! So here they are.

Here is Benjamin and the pumpkin that he picked out. We went to a harvest festival, and Benjamin's favorite part was walking through the pumpkin patch.

Here is the cutie walking by the pumpkins, it was a lot of work, he kept tripping. If only he had sheriff woody's boots.

I made him a Buzz Lightyear cake, he liked it.

Here we are at the Harvest Festival. It was a lot of fun.

Every year on Benjamin's birthday we take pictures of him with pumkins, it is fun seeing how much he has grown, he is so much bigger this year from last. He loves pumpkins, we never carved his pumpkin so he still plays with it, I am not sure what we are going to do when we have to get rid of it.

Happy Birthday Benjamin. Better late then never!

4 Weeks

So today marks four weeks until our due date. We are so excited to welcome our new little one. Benjamin is getting really excited, I know he is going to do so well with her. I keep asking him what the baby will do and he says "cry". Then I ask what he will do when she cries, and he says "pacifier" "chocolate". Two of his favorite things.
I am doing well, I have been so tired lately and unable to get much sleep, but it is going to be nothing compared with what is coming in a few weeks. I just had an ultrasound and everything is looking more then perfect so we are so happy.
So far I have not done any shopping for her, except this passed week I bought her a christmas dress that I am in love with, I can't wait for her to wear it, it is so cute, it was weird to even buy tights.
We still do not have a name but I think we have narrowed it to four names and then we will decide when we have her. Middle names are still up in the air but we know it will come to us.

August and September Pics

My sleeping baby, he is still so cute, I was supposed to wake him up because he has been sleeping in to long, but he ended up pulling my blanket on him and going back to sleep.

]'Here is Benjamin and his Dad taking pictures of themsleves, Benjamin looks so old.

Here is my little Cheese Eater, he loves cheese.

Lazy Satureday Morning,
as if we needed any more proff that Ben is Steven's son.
September came finally some cool weather, which I am loving, Benjamin got to put on his fall clothes and he looked so cute I had to take a picture.
Here is our little puppy, it is Benjamin's halloween costume, he loves it and gets to wear it every once in a while. When he has it on he needs his back scratched it is really cute.

In August we went Peach picking, here is Ben on a ladder.

Here is Ben and Daddy picking the peaches, I stayed away from the ladder.

Our vacuum reciently had to have the belt replaced Benjamin helped his Dad fix it and since then fixes his vacuum regularly, it is really cute, he is quite the handy man.

As you can see there are not any pictures of me, I have been behind the camera lately, I am getting huge (for me) and we have a little under 8 weeks until d-day, it is coming quickly. Every time I am ready for a picture something comes up and we never get it done, sometime soon I am sure.
Other then that we are doing well and staying busy, Benjamin has been a little sick with a cold, he was running a fever but that has gone away so hopefully we are on the mend. Steven is busy with work as always and just getting more busy. But this Saturday he is not working for the first time in weeks so that is exciting, 6 day work weeks are long weeks. As for me I am making a quilt that I can't to put pictures up when it is done, and trying to keep my two year old happy. Benjamin's favorite day of the week is Wed when we go to the library for wobblers, he loves singing songs. Well I better be going, have a good week.

Where have I been

Life has been so crazy lately that I have not blogged it what seems like forever. First off things are going really well. I am 29 weeks pregnant and am looking forward to 30 weeks. This pregnancy has been fairly easy, and then I hit the third trimester and suddenly things are getting so much more difficult. I remember when I was pregnant with Ben I reached a point where if I dropped something I left it there, nothing was worth bending over for, but with Benjamin here with me I find myself bending to get things when it is the last thing that I want to do, also carry my not so little boy. So needless to say taking care of Benjamin is a bit of a challenge.
Enough about me. Exciting news for Benjamin, he has worked so hard and is potty trained! I am so proud of him. He did such a great job. It took him about 2 weeks to get it and about a month to stop having accidents. I know that accidents are going to happen still but he is so amazing, And has been acccident free for a week! He is so proud of himself, and it makes me so happy for him.
Steven has been working so hard for us, in August he went to houston for his annual meeting and
Benjamin and I went to Cottage Grove for the weekend. Steven of course missed us but Benjamin had a blast he loves playing with other kids and we just don't get to do it often enough. He played so hard everyday that by the time he went to bed he was so tired it took him a total of 2 minutes before he was out. He is going to love being a big brother. He also loved being with Grandma Naegle who gives him so much attention. Anything he wanted she was willing to do with him, even when I was not, he still asks to go to Grandma's house. Infact the other day we saw a car that looks like my mom's Tahoe, Benjamin was positive it was Grandma's and was ready to wait for her. It was not her car and I had to carry him away throwing a hugh fit. He really loves his Grandma.
So sorry about not pictures we have not taken many lately but I do have some I will have to down load them so they are soon to come.
